Note: All job offers are contingent upon Human Resources final approval Job Description: This recruitment will be used to fill four part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Support Technology (SST) position for the College of Business at Oregon State University (OSU). Pay rate for this position is 16.80 per hour. Position Duties • Customer Service, Troubleshooting, and Equipment Maintenance • Responding to walk-in, phone, and email questions about the computer lab • Maintaining printers • Cleaning computer labs and common areas • Maintaining communication between Level 2 Student Support Technicians and full-time employees. • Making and monitoring tickets within our ticketing system (Service Now). • Opening and closing facilities • Limited facilities maintenance Transferable Skill Development OSU is committed to ensuring students are prepared for success after graduation through intentional skill development as student employees. Preferred: • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 11 • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and networking basics • A demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity Working Conditions/Schedule: - Schedules are fixed by term, flexible with class schedules, and are 10-24 hours per week. - Available to work Monday through Friday 7 AM – 10 PM, Saturday 8 AM – 6 PM, and Sunday 12 PM – 8 PM. - Hours that are outside business hours may be expected depending on availability.
