Job Description Corporate Research – Research and Technology Center Asia Pacific is a team of international & interdisciplinary scientists, driving cutting edge research to leverage on Asia’s excellent expertise. Scientifically verified knowledge and insights are the foundation of our sustainable solutions. Through our innovation, we develop a vision for the future product of Bosch, evaluate its feasibility, and convert it into practical solutions. We set trends and enable new business opportunities for Bosch. • Conduct research and pre-development of innovative compressor concept for automobile and household applications. • Focus is on scroll eCompressor design, simulation, validation and optimization. • Work closely with corporate research hub in Renningen, Germany on project activities and competence development. • Work closely with business units to supply cutting edge and competitive technology solutions and to transform them to products. • Main responsibility includes: • Lead and participate research topic on scroll compressor, including requirement analysis, concept design, simulation and validation. • Pursue technology excellence by contributing brilliant ideas to new scroll compressor concepts and features including patent filing. • Prove innovation concept by pre-development including design, simulation, prototyping, test and validation. • Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully. • Manage suppliers and lab facilities for sample construction.
