You Are:As a seasoned Software Engineer, you bring a strong combination of software expertise and hands-on experience in silicon validation environments. You are passionate about building software tools and automation frameworks that drive silicon validation, system-level debug, and characterization workflows.You thrive at the intersection of hardware and software, and you are comfortable working across the hardware–software boundary, supporting silicon bring-up, debug, and validation through software-driven approaches. You enjoy solving complex, cross-domain problems and delivering scalable solutions that improve efficiency and coverage.You are a collaborative team player who partners effectively with analog, systems, firmware, and software teams. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you take ownership of challenges and drive them to closure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.You are also committed to mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
What You’ll Be Doing:Develop and maintain software tools, automation frameworks, and scripts to support silicon validation, characterization, and debug workflows.Drive the development of automated test flows, data processing pipelines, and reporting solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, systems, firmware, and software) to debug and resolve complex silicon issues.Analyze silicon behavior using a combination of lab measurements and software-driven data analysis.Enable and optimize instrument control, data acquisition, and validation workflows through software.Debug issues across the hardware–software interface, including silicon bring-up, system-level validation, and instrumentation interaction.Enhance existing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.Document, design, develop, and test software solutions supporting validation infrastructure.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in software development and validation methodologies.

What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in software development and/or silicon validation environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated experience developing hardware automation frameworks, software validation tools, or scripting solutions.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills spanning both software and hardware domains.
• Proficient in Python, with experience in test equipment automation and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git or GitLab, including code repository management and branching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory environments and instrumentation is highly desirable.
• Experience with low-level hardware communication protocols (such as JTAG, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.) for integrated circuit bring-up, debugging, and validation.Who You Are:
