Note: All job offers are contingent upon Human Resources final approval Job Description: This recruitment will be used to fill six (6) part-time (approximately 10-12 hours per week / maximum of 20 hours per week) Undergraduate Teaching Assistant positions for the Department of Chemistry working with students taking general chemistry courses such as CH 121, 122, 123,227Z, 228Z, 229Z. at Oregon State University (OSU). Position Duties: • 55% instructor for recitation and/or laboratory sections of general chemistry • 30% grading assignments • 10% Mole Hole hours (office hours) • 5% attending staff meetings Transferable Skill Development OSU is committed to ensuring students are prepared for success after graduation through intentional skill development as student employees.
