Above all, you take ownership: you follow through, you close loops, and you leave things better than you found them.What You’ll Be Doing: • Solving complex PPA (Performance, Power, Area) challenges using Synopsys’ latest implementation technologies, including AI/ML Implementation, Physical Synthesis RTL-GDS, Multi Source CTS, and Indesign Fusion. • Benchmarking Synopsys solutions against competitors to displace alternative implementation flows and demonstrate superior results. • Developing, debugging, and optimizing RTL-GDS implementation methodologies and flows for emerging semiconductor technologies. • Providing technical solutions by identifying design and EDA tool issues and delivering actionable resolutions for customers. • Translating technical findings into requirements for R&D, driving tool enhancements and adaptive long-term solutions. • Deploying new technology features in the latest EDA tool versions and enabling customer migration for best-in-class PPA. • Proactively identifying customer pain points and proposing innovative solutions to address them. • Collaborating closely with Synopsys R&D and product development teams to shape future technology directions. • Acting as a customer advocate during internal discussions and as a brand ambassador when engaging externally.The Impact You Will Have: • Elevating customer success by delivering robust technical solutions and enabling optimal tool utilization. • Driving Synopsys’ competitive advantage by displacing rival implementation flows and showcasing superior PPA outcomes. • Contributing to the enhancement of Synopsys products by providing critical feedback and requirements to R&D. • Accelerating customer adoption of new technology nodes and EDA tool versions to achieve best-in-class results. • Strengthening Synopsys’ reputation as the industry leader in physical implementation and innovation. • Fostering long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and continuous support.What You’ll Need: • At least 3+ years of experience in Physical Implementation (RTL-GDS), with proven ability to debug and resolve synthesis & PnR challenges. • Strong exposure to methodology changes aimed at achieving targeted PPA metrics for complex designs. • Proficiency in Synopsys implementation tools and flows is highly advantageous. • Advanced scripting skills (TCL, Unix, Perl) for automation and debugging. • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with customers and internal teams.Who You Are: • Self-motivated and dedicated, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement. • Strong analytical thinker with outstanding debug skills and attention to detail. • Collaborative team player who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. • Customer-centric, always advocating for the best outcomes and solutions. • Resilient and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:Join our Application Engineering team in Bangalore, where you’ll work directly with industry pioneers and innovators.
