Customer Engineer, HLOS Stability & PCIe

Company: Qualcomm China Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Applications Engineering General Summary: - Support Qualcomm chipset customer developping technologies and features with Qualcomm SDKs/toolchain on various OS. - Play consultant/expert role, trouble shooting, identify/analyze problem reported by customers, help developer team to narrow down the root cause and fix it. Skills/experience: - Strong experience on C/C++/Java language, at least 4+ years with one of above programming languages. - Strong experience on Linux kernel driver/system sevices/C/C++ library development, Android native services/HAL/ Android APK development and stability issues' debugging. - Solid knowledge on Linux OS knowledge like process management, IPC, locks, memory management, and interrupt management. - Deep understanding PCIe specification and various PCIe device drivers. Solid knowledge of ARM architecture and ASM language. - Scripting languages (Python) and utilities (make files, compilers like GCC, IDEs & profilers) are pluses. Knowledge of LLM/Agent deployment on emdedded devices is a plus. - Good English communication and interpersonal skills. - High motivation, strong self-learning ability. - Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team from various disciplines and at various locations. Education requirements: Bachelor's or Master's, major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant majors. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
