Note: All job offers are contingent upon Human Resources final approval Job Description: This recruitment will be used to fill 1 part-time (maximum of 20 hours per week) Student Technical Assistant position for the Department of Food Science and Technology at Oregon State University (OSU). Performs routine to complex technical or specialized tasks in support of the OSU enology program including work in the Osborne research lab and OSU Research and Teaching Winery. Position Duties: Position duties to be determined by the hiring unit, but may include routine laboratory work, data gathering and analysis, writing research reports, and other duties as assigned. • Winery operations, such as grape processing, fermentation management, filtering and bottling • Routine juice and wine analysis • Collect and collate data Transferable Skill Development OSU is committed to ensuring students are prepared for success after graduation through intentional skill development as student employees.
