You thrive in a global, collaborative environment and are passionate about building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and driving engineering excellence.What You Will Be DoingTechnical & Program LeadershipYou will lead the successful execution of advanced SoC implementation projects, providing technical direction across the complete implementation flow, including synthesis, timing constraints, low-power verification, physical design, STA, timing closure, and signoff. You will drive design quality and delivery excellence through robust methodologies, engineering best practices, and continuous process improvement.As a senior technical leader, you will guide teams through complex implementation and signoff challenges, serve as the escalation point for critical technical issues, and help evolve methodologies and automation that improve productivity, quality, and predictability across the organization.People Management & Team DevelopmentYou will build, lead, and develop a high-performing SoC Implementation team in Vietnam, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. You will lead a large organization of engineers and technical leads, helping individuals expand their technical expertise and leadership capabilities.You will foster a culture of technical rigor, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring strong employee engagement, career growth, and organizational scalability.Stakeholder & Business PartnershipYou will partner closely with customers, Business Units, R&D teams, and other key stakeholders to align engineering execution with business priorities and customer needs. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, contribute to delivery planning and risk management, and play a key role in strengthening Synopsys' SoC engineering capability in Vietnam.The Impact You Will HaveYou will enable the successful delivery of advanced SoC designs while strengthening implementation methodology, signoff excellence, and engineering capability across the organization. Your leadership will help build a world-class team, develop future technical and people leaders, and contribute significantly to Synopsys' long-term growth and customer success.What You Will Need • BS, MS, or PhD in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electromechanics, or a related discipline. • 12+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC implementation, with proven success delivering complex designs from synthesis through tapeout. • Strong expertise in synthesis, timing constraint development and debug, physical implementation, STA, timing closure, and signoff. • Solid experience with implementation quality and signoff flows, including low-power verification, Formality (FM), GCA checks, and related validation methodologies. • Deep understanding of advanced implementation and signoff concepts, including MMMC analysis, signal integrity, power integrity, extraction, and physical verification. • Hands-on experience with Synopsys implementation and signoff tools such as Fusion Compiler, ICC2, PrimeTime, StarRC, ICV, VCLP, and Formality. • Strong scripting and automation skills using TCL, Perl, Python, or similar languages. • Proven track record leading and developing large engineering teams, with strong coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Who You Are • A respected technical leader with deep expertise in SoC implementation, STA, and signoff. • A strong people manager who excels at hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing engineering teams. • An effective communicator capable of influencing customers, senior management, and global engineering organizations. • A collaborative leader who works successfully across cultures, functions, and time zones. • Results-oriented, accountable, and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes. • Passionate about building organizational capability, scaling teams, and developing future leaders.The Team You Will Be a Part OfYou will lead a critical part of the SoC Engineering organization in Vietnam, collaborating closely with global Synopsys teams to deliver advanced implementation and signoff solutions using Synopsys EDA tools and methodologies.
