If you’re excited to shape the future of smart everything, Synopsys is the place for you.What You’ll Be Doing: • Providing expert technical guidance and engineering insight to support Synopsys product adoption and usability for leading semiconductor customers. • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues during customer installations and deployments. • Training customers on new implementations, features, and capabilities of Synopsys RTL2GDS full flow solutions. • Reviewing feedback from customers and application partners to identify enhancement opportunities and collaborating with R&D for product improvements. • Partnering with sales and customer technical managers to identify business challenges and architect effective technical solutions for new and existing accounts. • Supporting the technical roadmap by validating specifications and ensuring alignment with cutting-edge silicon design methodologies.The Impact You Will Have: • Accelerate customer time-to-market by optimizing chip design flows and eliminating bottlenecks. • Enhance product usability and adoption, driving increased utilization and retention across customer accounts. • Directly contribute to the evolution of Synopsys products by channeling customer feedback to R&D teams. • Enable customers to achieve optimal power, cost, and performance targets in advanced node designs. • Champion technical excellence and innovation in the implementation of new methodologies and tools. • Foster long-term partnerships by addressing customer challenges with tailored, impactful solutions.What You’ll Need: • Extensive experience with RTL to GDSII full flow and advanced node design methodologies. • Hands-on proficiency with synthesis, physical design, static timing analysis, equivalence checking, parasitic extraction, DRC/LVS, and power analysis. • Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, and Python; familiarity with CAD automation methods. • Tool expertise: Design Compiler, ICC2, Fusion Compiler, Genus, Innovus; familiarity with STA (Primetime, Tempus), IR drop analysis (Redhawk, Voltus), Extraction (Star-RCXT, Quantus), Formal verification (Formality, Conformal). • BSEE (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience, or MSEE (or equivalent) with 8+ years in Synthesis & Place & Route.Who You Are: • Collaborative team player who thrives in diverse, inclusive environments. • Exceptional communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messaging for technical and non-technical audiences. • Proactive problem-solver with a high degree of curiosity and technical acumen. • Customer-focused, adaptable, and results-oriented, always striving for excellence. • Mentor and leader, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:You’ll join the Silicon Design & Verification team, a group of passionate engineers dedicated to advancing the world’s leading solutions for designing and verifying advanced silicon chips.
