Job Description:
This recruitment will be used to fill 2 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Accounting Assistant positions for the Billing & Receivables Services (BRS) unit at Oregon State University (OSU).
The successful candidate will contribute to the operational success of the BRS unit by processing Customer Invoices, Internal Service Deliveries, Customer Creations, creating cash deposits and applying payments, responding to emails, picking up and dropping off mail, taking deposits to the Cashier’s Office, and other general accounting or office duties.
This position would be ideal for an accounting student looking to gain practical experience to supplement their education.
Position Duties
• Enter Internal Service Deliveries in Workday.
• Process check payments by creating and applying customer payments and creating customer deposits in Workday.
• Enter Customer Invoices in Workday.
• Create new customers in Workday.
• Pick up and drop off BRS mail from various mailbox locations.
• Deliver daily deposits to the Cashier’s Office.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
