What You’ll Be Doing: • Designing, implementing, and executing functional, regression, performance, and API tests in both manual and automated environments. • Developing and maintaining automated test suites at the application and source-code levels to ensure comprehensive coverage. • Expanding and improving test coverage across a diverse set of features, platforms, and configurations. • Monitoring daily test results, analyzing failures, and conducting root cause analysis to drive product quality improvements. • Contributing to and maintaining shared test frameworks, infrastructure, and CI-driven quality processes. • Collaborating closely with software developers, QA engineers, and domain experts to ensure testability, reliability, and product excellence throughout the development lifecycle. • Applying robust software engineering principles to test design, implementation, and troubleshooting. • Actively supporting team goals, adapting to new challenges, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.The Impact You Will Have: • Ensuring high-quality releases of complex simulation software critical to aerospace and engineering customers worldwide. • Increasing test automation and coverage to accelerate product development cycles and minimize release risk. • Identifying and resolving defects early, directly improving software reliability. • Enhancing CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure, enabling faster feedback loops. • Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to build robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. • Championing quality standards and best practices that drive innovation and set Synopsys apart in the industry.What You’ll Need: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. • Strong programming experience in Python, C#, and/or Java, with an ability to quickly learn new languages as needed. • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Perl, Bash, or PowerShell. • Solid understanding of software design principles, debugging, and analytical problem-solving techniques. • Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments. • Familiarity with automated test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, JUnit) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. • Knowledge of software architecture, APIs, or distributed systems is beneficial. • Willingness to embrace new challenges, technologies, and tools in a fast-paced environment.Who You Are: • Collaborative team player who values open communication and mutual support. • Detail-oriented and organized, with a persistent drive for quality and process improvement. • Analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. • Adaptable, resilient, and eager to learn in a dynamic and evolving technical landscape. • Effective communicator, able to translate complex technical issues for diverse audiences. • Self-motivated and proactive, with a genuine passion for technology and innovation.The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:You’ll join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing STK (Systems Tool Kit), a commercial mission modeling software used by thousands worldwide.
