Optical link design for GPU-to-GPU interconnects

This internship
focuses on the design and evaluation of silicon photonic optical interconnects
for hyperscale GPU clusters, targeting high-bandwidth GPU-to-GPU data transfer.
The work will investigate end-to-end photonic link architectures for
ultra-high-baud-rate optical transmitters and receivers, with an emphasis on
realistic system-level modeling and performance evaluation. In addition, the
student will explore and develop novel figures of merit that accurately capture
link performance, scalability, and system limitations.
