Software Developer - Manufacturing Execution Systems What you will do You will be working in IMEC’s ICT department in the team for Manufacturing Software Solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain software applications that support the semiconductor manufacturing processes, ensuring high performance and reliability. You will apply best practices in object-oriented programming and software development. You will optimize database interactions using relational database concepts and SQL. You will participate in code reviews and implement software testing methodologies to ensure software quality and reliability. You will work in an Agile development environment, delivering solutions iteratively through sprints. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of software tools and development processes. Who you are You already have 4+ years of experience in software development with C#/.NET. You have excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming. You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex software challenges. You are familiar with relational database concepts and SQL for effective data management. You have knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (preferably JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular). You have experience with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). You can work independently and in a team, ensuring high-quality software delivery. You have strong communication skills, allowing you to interact effectively with internal stakeholders. You feel comfortable in a complex and demanding environment. Nice to have Experience with unit testing frameworks to ensure software quality. Familiarity with MES software and Industry 4.0 concepts.
