THE ROLEAMD is seeking a Cloud Sales Strategic Account Manager to accelerate the adoption and consumption of AMD EPYC™-powered cloud services across Southern Europe. This highly strategic, customer-facing role is focused on driving business outcomes with some of the region’s largest cloud-consuming organizations while working closely with leading Cloud Solution Providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and others).As a trusted advisor, you will engage executive stakeholders, cloud architects, engineering leaders, and digital transformation teams to help customers optimize their cloud environments through AMD-powered solutions. You will collaborate closely with AMD's Cloud Sales, Global Account Management, Marketing, Product Management, and Technical teams to identify and win new opportunities while expanding AMD's footprint within strategic accounts.This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cloud innovation, helping organizations leverage AI, advanced data center technologies, and emerging agentic AI workloads that are transforming how businesses deploy, automate, and scale applications in the cloud.THE PERSONThe ideal candidate is a strategic and customer-focused sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You combine strong commercial acumen with a consultative selling approach and enjoy collaborating across cross-functional and global teams to achieve ambitious growth objectives.You are highly organized, data-driven, and capable of communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Excellent presentation, relationship-building, and account management skills are essential for success in this role.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and strengthen executive and technical relationships within strategic enterprise accounts across Southern Europe. • Drive cloud adoption and consumption of AMD-powered instances across major Cloud Solution Providers. • Build, manage, and execute strategic account plans that identify opportunities to land, expand, and grow AMD's presence within assigned accounts. • Create and maintain a healthy cloud consumption pipeline while accurately forecasting business opportunities. • Position AMD cloud solutions to support customer initiatives related to AI, data center modernization, cloud migration, and emerging agentic AI applications. • Partner closely with AMD Cloud, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Technical teams to develop and execute customer growth strategies. • Collaborate with Cloud Solution Providers to identify and accelerate joint opportunities. • Deliver compelling business and technical presentations to executive, business, and engineering audiences. • Use data-driven insights to track progress, optimize investments, and communicate business results to internal and external stakeholders. • Represent AMD at customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements to grow awareness and adoption of AMD technologies.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans within the cloud, data center, or enterprise technology industry. • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, IaaS solutions, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives. • Experience working with or partnering alongside major Cloud Solution Providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud. • Demonstrated success building executive relationships within large enterprise or strategic accounts. • Knowledge of modern AI workloads, cloud-native technologies, and evolving agentic AI ecosystems. • Proven ability to influence and collaborate within highly matrixed global organizations. • Strong commercial, negotiation, account management, and business planning skills. • Excellent communication and presentation capabilities with both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to travel as business needs require.ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Advanced business or technical qualifications are considered a plus.LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS • Professional fluency in French and English is essential for engaging customers, partners, and stakeholders across the region.LOCATIONFrance (remote), ideally based in the Paris area. #LI-DH1 #LI-REMOTE Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
