Call for Applications: Assistant Professor in International Relations, Özyeğin University, Istanbul

Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of International Relations Position: Assistant Professor Specialization: OpenÖzyeğin University, a vibrant and innovative institution located in Istanbul, invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are seeking outstanding candidates with a proven track record in research and teaching, who are eager to contribute to the interdisciplinary academic environment of our university.Qualifications: • PhD in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Economics and related disciplines, as well as area studies - including African, Asian, Latin American studies, broadly-defined); within the first 3 years of acquiring a PhD. • Strong potential for or proven ability to conduct high-quality research, as evidenced by publications in leading academic journals: a minimum of 2 x Q1/Q2 (WoS) publications are desired, • Commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels; ideally one course on qualitative, quantitative or computational research methodology.
