Your information
Privacy, in plain language.
How this portal handles browsing preferences, operational logs, and waitlist registrations.
Browsing the board
You can browse jobs without a job-seeker account. The site records requests, including time, page path, IP address, browser user agent, referrer, and response status, to operate the service and understand traffic. Detailed traffic analytics are restricted to the operator.
Saved roles and preferences
Saved job IDs and your theme preference are stored in this browser’s local storage. A time-zone cookie helps interpret date filters. Saved roles do not sync between devices, and clearing site data removes them. Operator login uses a separate signed session cookie.
The job-alert waitlist
The signup form stores your name, email, location, optional discipline, signup time, and consent version in a private server-side database. Email addresses are initially unverified. When notification delivery is enabled, your browser also sends your name, email, location, optional discipline, and consent to Web3Forms to email your request to the team. The waitlist does not send confirmation emails to you or recurring job alerts. Email verification is required before recurring alerts begin.
Subscription request emails
Web3Forms processes notification submissions in the United States and forwards them to the operator inbox associated with our form. Its documentation says logs may contain personal data and are cleared periodically, every two months. The team can use your email to reply to your request. Removing a waitlist registration does not automatically delete email copies already delivered to the team or logs retained by the email provider.
Removing your registration
A new registration receives a private removal link. Keep it somewhere safe. Opening the link and confirming removal deletes the corresponding waitlist record. A repeat submission does not change an existing registration or replace its original removal link.
How waitlist data is protected
Waitlist details are not part of public job data, company listings, or browser downloads. Private recovery copies are kept on the server and in a private GitHub repository. Removing a registration deletes the active record; earlier copies may remain until backups are replaced or aged out, including under the backup provider’s retention policy. Requests are size-limited and rate-limited. A salted hash of the request address is kept temporarily for rate limiting. Expired rate-limit entries are cleared on subsequent requests.
External employer sites
Apply and Careers links take you to an employer or its recruiting service. Their privacy notices and application processes apply there. Employer logos identify listings and do not imply endorsement.
