As a Project Manager Project Management on our Corporate Functions team, you ensure processes run efficiently, you bring clarity, and dependable support to the heart of the company. Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role • Plan, organize, and manage projects or sub-projects of minor complexity (up to Project Classification Class D), including associated risks, impacts, and scope. • Take full responsibility for operational decisions and ensure the successful achievement of project objectives in terms of timeline, quality, cost, and budget. • Serve as the key communication interface for project-related matters, representing Backend Operations to other Infineon divisions, including Business Lines, Central Functions, PTI, FE Fabs, and Finance. • Establish and lead project teams, assigning responsibilities to sub-project managers and project team members. • Utilize Infineon project management tools to structure projects, monitor progress, and maintain project reporting and documentation. • Drive problem-solving activities within projects using standard Infineon methodologies, such as 8D, 5 Whys, and other troubleshooting tools. • Maintain a continuous focus on project quality, assess project progress, and ensure objectives are achieved despite challenges. • Identify and manage project changes, adapting project approaches as necessary to ensure successful delivery. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. • Solid knowledge of project management, including project initiation, planning, execution, closing, reporting, and documentation. • Good knowledge of semiconductor engineering and manufacturing operations. • Strong communication skills. • Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation, and solution-oriented problem solving. • Ability to lead teams in resolving standard problems using structured methodologies and tools such as 8D, Is-Is Not, and FMEA. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
