Software CI/CD Test Engineer Role (India)

Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment. • Automate product builds across multiple environments. • Integrate regression testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution. • Collect, analyse, and circulate build/test results to stakeholders using appropriate tools and dashboards. • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and implement optimizations. • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration. • Ensure security and compliance best practices are incorporated into the CI/CD process. Required Skills • Strong experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar. • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy). • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Knowledge of build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, npm). • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and integration into pipelines. • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Good understanding of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies. Additional Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). • 3+ years of experience in CI/CD or DevOps engineering roles.
