As an AMD [intern/co-op], you’ll be placed at the epicenter of the AI ecosystem, working alongside experts and industry pioneers. LOCATION: Singapore
CRITERIA: Current students studying in Universities which are based in Singapore
INTERNSHIP DURATION: The internship will begin on either 4 Jan 2027, and will end on 28 May 2027. There is an option to extend the internship, with the extended period concluding on a fixed date of 6 Aug 2027.
Intern – Test Development, Qualification, and Optimization for Next Generation AMD Server Products
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN:
Learn about system-on-chip product architecture, test program development process using industry standard Agile development methodologies, and new product development processes.
PROJECT OVERVIEW:
• Develop tools and applications targeted to optimize test development and qualification activities of the next generation server microprocessors using cutting edge AMD technology.
• Work with the Enterprise test team on both Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to develop automated tools to optimizetest development and debug activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop automation tools to increase test development and debug efficiency.
• Handle qualification and characterization activities, including data analysis, reject validation, and reporting.
• Perform test program checkout and correlation.
• Support test module owners in minor test program modifications and experiments.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
• A self-driven individual with a willingness to learn, resourceful and passionate about technology.
• Able to adapt to a highly collaborative environment. Willing to work hard and play hard!
RELEVANT SKILLSETS:
• Basic understanding of electronics and computing systems.
• Basic ability to program in a Linux/Windows environment using programming/scripting languages (C++, Python, Java, Perl, Ruby).
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Background in Electronical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering/ Science
