Antmicro’s frontend internship program gives you the opportunity to get hands-on experience building the world wide Web with our engineers. If you are technically-minded and, like us, passionate about open source, then this is the opportunity for you. As an intern you will support Antmicro's and Svevn's (our sister company) engineering teams and deliver/maintain high-quality, efficient and reliable frontend code, optimized for a wide range of applications. You will be introduced to actual projects aimed at implementing new features and improving user experience for existing company assets as well as creating new websites, applications and portals. Requirements: • full time students of senior years • availability during an intensive, 2-months summer program (ca. 300 hours in total) or flexible program during the academic year (min. 20 hours/week, ca. 200 hours in total) • experience with Web development technologies: HTML, JS, CS/SCSS • basic knowledge of frontend build tools and frameworks • understanding of UX concepts & responsive design • readiness for everyday work in Linux • ability to quickly adopt new technologies • methodical approach and attention to detail • teamwork and willingness to learn from others • good command of English • readiness to work in the office This is an onsite opportunity.
