The automotive industry is undergoing a major transformation since the invention of internal combustion engine nearly 150 years ago. Increasing level of autonomy and network connectivity has resulted in the demand of new generation in-vehicle networking technology using Automotive Ethernet. Infineon is the global leader in the development of Automotive Ethernet products such as PHY and ethernet switch. When you join us, you get to work with a team of expert verification engineers who have successfully verified over 25 mass-production chips. You will assist in improving the quality of our chips to meet critical automotive requirements including functional safety, time sensitive networking, cybersecurity, and traceability. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role • Technical CompetencyDevelop test plans, tests, coverage model and debug fail tests.Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with system architects, RTL design, FGPA, emulation, and firmware teams to translate design intent into constrained random tests. • Specialized TestingMixed-signal co-simulation: Build verification infrastructure bridging digital RTL modules with analog/mixed-signal models (such as spice netlist, behavioural models, real number modelling).Apply advanced verification techniques such as formal verification. • ExecutionMulti-Level Verification: Execute thorough verification across all structural hierarchies, including block, sub-system, and full SoC levels.Debugging: Perform root-cause analysis for complex simulation failures and corner-case errors, tracking issues across hardware-software boundaries.Engage in development of new verification methodologies and continuous workflow improvement to achieve certification in functional safety.Use latest AI tool to enhance productivity of design verification tasks. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. • Good knowledge of Universal Verification Methodology(UVM) and constrained random testing. • Capability in SystemVerilog, Verilog, C/C++. • Preferred to have experiences with Ethernet protocol such as ethernet switch, PHY, MAC. • Excellent critical thinking skills and capability to complete tasks before agreed deadlines. • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
