NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Join our team and discover how you can build a lasting impact on the world.
We are looking for a passionate Field Application Engineer (FAE) to drive technical engagements with key customers across EMEA, enabling them to build world‑class solutions on NVIDIA platforms. You will act as the primary technical interface between our customers, NVIDIA sales, and NVIDIA engineering teams, ensuring successful design‑in, deployment, and optimization of our GPU, AI, networking, and embedded products. You combine deep technical expertise with strong customer‑facing skills and enjoy solving complex system‑level problems in real customer environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Hardware design-in & bring-up: Support integration of NVIDIA silicon (GPUs, ConnectX NICs, BlueField DPUs, Grace & Vera CPUs) into partner system architectures. Participate in schematic reviews, PCB stack-up reviews, EVT/DVT bring-up.
• Issue triage & escalation: Track, reproduce, and drive resolution of customer bugs across ticketing systems. Coordinate with internal Application Engineers and Product teams, and communicate workarounds, fixes, and release timelines back to the customer.
• Firmware & software stack support: Guide customers through NVIDIA platform firmware (NIC FW, GPU FW, BMC/BIOS, FPGA, ERoT), GPU Operator, Network Operator, DOCA/OFED, DCGM, MFT tools, and NVQual qualification workflows.
• Cross-company coordination: Bridge the customer, NVIDIA engineering (GPU, networking, platform SW), third-party vendors, and internal account/program management teams. Lead NDA processes and NVOnline access for partner engineers.
• Telco / AI-RAN expertise: Work closely with the Aerial SDK Product SA and HQ Telco strategy to support partner Aerial integration, GPU-accelerated L1/L2 RAN, and platform deployment.
• OEM portfolio support: Support additional OEM partners on HGX, IGX, and MGX reference designs, answering technical questions on power architecture, thermal management, PCIe topology, partner enablement docs, and design proposal reviews.
• Customer on-site engagement: Oc casional travels to partner sites
What We Need to See:
• 15+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (FAE, Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer) in the datacenter, HPC, networking, or telecom hardware ecosystem.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong Linux systems knowledge: comfortable with kernel modules, driver stacks, Kubernetes/OpenShift operators, container runtimes, and firmware update workflows.
• Networking fundamentals: Ethernet, InfiniBand, SR-IOV, RDMA, NIC configuration. Experience with Mellanox/NVIDIA ConnectX or BlueField is a strong plus.
• GPU / accelerated computing awareness: understanding of NVIDIA GPU platforms (HGX, MGX, DGX), CUDA, GPU Operator, DCGM. Deep GPU expertise is a plus but can be developed on the job.
• Hardware-level comfort: ability to read schematics, understand PCIe topology, engage in thermal/mechanical design reviews, and participate in board-level bring-up and debug.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
• Experience in the telecom / RAN / 5G ecosystem (O-RAN, Aerial, AI-RAN concepts).
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP
• Previous experience with partner/customer support
• Background in BMC/Redfish, IPMI, or platform management firmware.
