Working across hardware, firmware, software, systems engineering, product management, support, business development, sales, and go-to-market teams, you will translate customer and product objectives into executable plans. You will serve as a primary program point of contact internally and externally, ensuring milestones are achieved and technical issues are resolved.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate combines strong technical program management experience with practical knowledge of complex data center GPU, server, and software systems. They are highly organized, technically credible, and comfortable leading horizontally across globally distributed engineering, business, OEM/ODM partner, and enterprise customer teams.
The successful candidate can clarify and analyze technical requirements, build integrated program plans across hardware and software dependencies, drive accountability, anticipate execution risks, and communicate status, decisions, and mitigation plans clearly to technical and business leadership. Experience supporting OEM/ODM partners and enterprise or large-scale AI customers through platform development, validation, cluster deployment, optimization, and production ramp is highly valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead end-to-end customer and product programs for data center GPU platforms, from requirements and technical feasibility through development, validation, deployment, and production ramp.
• Translate customer requirements and senior technical guidance into clear program scope, schedules, milestones, KPIs, dependencies, deliverables, and ownership.
• Coordinate hardware, firmware, driver, software stack, system validation, support, product, and customer teams to achieve program milestones and release objectives.
• Develop integrated schedules that account for hardware, firmware, driver, software, platform, validation, and customer-environment dependencies; negotiate plans that support overall program commitments.
• Support OEM/ODM and enterprise customer engagements through proof-of-concept, platform development, system validation, cluster bring-up, performance tuning, production deployment, and ongoing readiness at scale.
• Communicate program status, decisions, issues, risks, and recommended mitigation plans to cross-functional teams, customers, partners, and leadership.
• Drive timely resolution of technical and execution roadblocks through structured issue management, clear accountability, and appropriate escalation.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to capture customer requirements and provide actionable feedback on hardware, firmware, driver, and software priorities.
• Build and maintain well-developed program plans, risk assessments, dependency tracking, reporting mechanisms, and decision frameworks throughout the program lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve deployment processes, validation methodologies, release coordination, system reliability, and overall customer program execution.
• Plan proactively for development and deployment risks, identify prevention and mitigation methods, and address issues early to reduce schedule disruption and engineering cost.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Proven program management experience in a dynamic, competitive technology environment, particularly within software development, systems engineering, or hardware engineering organizations.
• Experience supporting data center GPUs, accelerators, servers, AI infrastructure, or other complex compute platforms.
• Experience working directly with OEM/ODM partners, system integrators, enterprise data center customers, or large-scale AI customers.
• Understanding of data center infrastructure, server architectures, Linux environments, GPU software stacks, and large-scale compute deployments.
• Familiarity with GPU software ecosystems such as ROCm, including drivers, firmware, containerized environments, software releases, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing programs involving platform validation, system debug, post-silicon activities, cluster bring-up, software release coordination, and production ramp.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, cross-functional dependencies, risks, KPIs, and deliverables across multiple organizations.
• Strong customer-facing verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear program status, risks, decisions, and actions.
• Proven horizontal leadership and ability to lead within a matrixed organization across globally distributed teams, with flexibility to support execution across Asia and North America.
• Background in technical program management, systems engineering, customer engineering, customer success, or technical account management within data center environments.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; master's or other advanced degree preferred.
LOCATION:
• Austin, TX, Folsom, CA or Santa Clara, CA. (On-Site Role)
