Senior Project Manager Project Management

Lead Backend Development projects across the full project life cycle, driving successful delivery in time, quality and cost. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role • Plan, organize, lead and control projects within Backend Development to successfully achieve project targets in terms of timeliness, quality and cost. • Manage and control the entire project life cycle, including proper project closure and handover to sustaining functions. • Organize project activities and resources to ensure the timely release of each milestone. • Take responsibility for operational decisions and the successful achievement of project targets covering time, quality, cost and budget. • Form and lead diverse project teams, assigning responsibilities to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members. • Act as the key communication interface for project-related matters, representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions, Business Lines and Central Functions. • Track and report project status to stakeholders, with timely escalation as required, using project management tools for progress control, reporting and documentation. • Drive problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D and 5 Whys, while continuously focusing on project quality and progress. • Proactively identify and manage changes, adapting the project approach while ensuring buy-in for change. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, such as Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical or Physics. • Project Management Professional Certification (IPMA Level C). • At least 7 years of relevant working experience, including 4 years of leading projects. • Very good project management knowledge, including project initiation, planning and closing, as well as reporting and documentation. • Sound knowledge of semiconductor engineering and operation. • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation and solution finding. • Ability to lead teams in solving complex problems using methodologies such as 8D, Is-Is Not and FMEA. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
