• Strong Embedded C programming skills with experience in real-time embedded systems.
• Good understanding of microcontroller/SoC architectures, interrupts, DMA, timers, and memory management.
• Experience in embedded software development for UWB/NB modem, or signal-processing systems.
• Knowledge of software architecture, HAL/driver development, and hardware bring-up.
• Familiarity with debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, Trace32, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of communication protocols and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, IPC, and mailbox mechanisms.
• Strong problem-solving and system-level debugging skills.
Preferred / Domain-Specific Skills
• Knowledge of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Narrowband (NB) communication systems.
• Understanding of Ranging, Radar, and wireless PHY/MAC concepts.
• Knowledge of IEEE 802.15.4z / 802.15.4ab and UWB ranging concepts
• Experience with modem software
• Familiarity with DSP signal-processing concepts for UWB ranging and radar applications
• Exposure to automotive, industrial, or IoT wireless products.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for modem - UWB/NB ranging, and radar subsystems.
• Develop HAL, drivers, middleware, and system software for modem and RF control.
• Integrate and validate BB, DSP, and RF components on silicon, FPGA, and simulation platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues spanning software, DSP and modem domains.
• Collaborate with architecture, algorithm, DSP, RF, and validation teams to deliver scalable solutions.
