Product Development & Test Engineer, Mixed Signal IC

Company: Qualcomm Semiconductor Limited Job Area: Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware Engineering General Summary: Job Description Product and Test Engineering (PTE) is looking for Mixed Signal Test Engineers who will create test solutions in support of New Product Introduction (Silicon Validation and Characterization) and Manufacturing Enablement of Qualcomm Silicon on Chip (SOC) products. The individuals selected for the positions will need to be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be passionate about delivering quality work. As a Product Test Engineer, you will be working on software and hardware design, you will create Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) code/test methods and participate in data reviews which will require close collaboration with Design, Design for Test (DFT), Process, Product, and Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities: • IP and test requirements review with design engineers. • Test program development and validation with silicon. • Apply semiconductor domain knowledge and testing concepts to support analysis and decision-making. • Utilize Python scripting to automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting tasks. • Design and implement analytics solutions for root cause analysis using statistical and data-driven methodologies Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. • 1+ years of experience as a semiconductor product engineer, test engineer, or in process integration. • Solid understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal, power management circuit analysis techniques. • Working knowledge of Mixed Signal IC measurement techniques for ADC, DAC, PLL, LDO etc. • Able to work comfortably with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Source Meters, Spectrum analyzers, etc. • Familiar with working in both Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems. • Basic proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation. • Strong verbal and written communications skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
