Delivery Lead - Cloud & Compute

About the role NEC is looking for a Delivery Lead - Cloud Compute to take ownership of a key enterprise customer account in Melbourne. You'll be the trusted link between our customer and technical teams, ensuring services are delivered seamlessly while continuously improving performance, team capability, and customer outcomes. Key responsibilities • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cloud Compute professionals, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture. • Drive agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, prioritisation, reviews, and retrospectives. • Monitor and improve service delivery performance, ensuring SLA and KPI commitments are consistently achieved. • Manage team capacity, workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation to meet business and customer demand. • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, leading governance meetings, service reviews, and escalation management. • Analyse operational and service data to identify trends, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities to enhance services and deliver greater value for the customer. About you • Experience leading service delivery, technical operations, or managed services teams within an enterprise IT environment. • Proven people leadership capability, including coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and employee development. • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management. • Experience managing service levels, operational KPIs, risks, issues, and continuous improvement programs. • Outstanding customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and build lasting partnerships. • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn operational data into actionable insights. • Commercial acumen and a customer-first mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for service improvement and growth.
