The Portfolio You Will Pitch As an Account Executive, you won't just be pushing products - you'll be designing the future of enterprise tech for your clients, solving critical C-level dilemmas and delivering high-value solutions that enhance customer success and drive market share. • Accelerating Apps and Infra Modernization: You will help organizations solve the financial crisis caused by extreme cost increases from virtualization license changes. You will offer a unified platform that acts as a bridge to the cloud-native future enabling the customer to manage both VMs and containers side-by-side. The ultimate goal is to ensure the customer no longer has to choose between saving money on legacy environments and investing in future innovation. • Securing, Managing, and Scaling Modern Workloads: You will help organizations that struggle to effectively operate modern, distributed workloads across diverse environments. You will position the SUSE promise: unifying management of all distributed workloads on a single, open platform. This drastically cuts operational overhead and accelerates time-to-market for new, innovative services. You will sell into high-growth core use cases including AI, Cloud Native, SAP, Edge, and Telco. • Simplifying and Optimizing Core Operations: You will address the fundamental challenge faced by IT leaders: the need to both "keep the lights on" for existing systems and drive new, strategic innovation. How You’ll Succeed • Drive Strategic Growth: Manage a targeted portfolio of key accounts, prioritizing those with the highest potential for SUSE adoption. • Build Executive Relationships: Forge deep connections across the board, from Technical Buyers up to CXO-level Economic and Executive Buyers. • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Use consultative selling to understand your clients' mission-critical goals and tailor a precise mix of SUSE solutions to solve their challenges. • Own the Lifecycle: Be the primary point of contact from the initial pitch and complex negotiations through to closing and handing over to Customer Success. • Collaborate to Win: Co-author Account Plans with Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, and our Partner Ecosystem to bundle and deliver comprehensive solutions. • Spot Opportunities: Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling avenues while monitoring market trends to keep your sales strategies highly competitive. For US Only - US Pay Transparency Disclaimer If this role is filled in the United States of America, the starting base salary will be within the applicable pay range displayed below. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for a commission plan and a competitive benefits package. US benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, an Employee Assistance Program, and generous paid time off and leave policies.
