Overview
Thermal-Mechanical Expert for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies and Electronic Systems
As a
Thermal-Mechanical Simulation Expert, you will play a crucial role in the
design and optimization of electronic printed circuit board assemblies for various
application fields such as space, automotive and power. You will be responsible
for conducting advanced thermal and mechanical modelling to ensure, validate
models with experiments and predict the reliability and efficiency in harsh
environmental conditions. Your expertise will help us pushing the boundaries of
technology and deliver superior solutions to our collaboration partners.
What you will do
Perform thermal and mechanical simulations of electronic assemblies using industry-standard software tools. Analyse simulation
results to identify potential issues and optimize designs for thermal and
mechanical performance. Develop and validate
simulation models to predict the thermal-mechanical behaviour of
electronic under various conditions. Conduct experimental validation and
adjust simulation results by defining and executing experimental tests and
material characterization. Stay updated with the
latest advancements in thermal-mechanical simulation techniques, in
material characterisation techniques, in validation methods and in tools
such as AI-based computational learning and prediction techniques to
enhance simulation accuracy and efficiency. Prepare detailed reports
and presentations to communicate simulation findings and recommendations
to stakeholders. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality
assurance, to ensure seamless integration of simulation insights into
product development.
