Principal Solutions Architect (HPC & AI) - Europe (m/f/d)

Your mission You will act as a senior technical leader interfacing directly with customers, translating complex requirements into scalable architectures and guiding engagements from initial discussions through deployment and long-term adoption. Solutions Architecture & Technical Translation • Design and define HPC and AI system solutions tailored to customer use cases • Translate customer requirements into scalable and efficient computing solutions • Steer benchmarking, performance analysis, and system optimization efforts • Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to align product capabilities with real-world demandsCustomer Engagement & Technical Leadership • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the full engagement lifecycle • Lead technical discussions, workshops, and architecture reviews with senior stakeholders • Define and execute technical strategies for key opportunities • Own and lead proof-of-concept processes to drive successful adoptionApplied Workloads & Performance Optimization • Work directly on coordinating customer workloads, including FEM solvers, AI inference, and scientific computing applications • Optimize performance and efficiency of workloads on our systems • Bridge the gap between theoretical capabilities and real-world performance • Identify opportunities for differentiation through applied computing approaches Opportunity Ownership & Execution • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from lead generation, initial qualification and deployment • Drive opportunities from evaluation and benchmarking to production adoption • Shape solution configurations and technical positioning aligned with customer needs • Collaborate with leadership on solution structuring and engagement strategy • Support discussions by clearly articulating technical value, differentiation, and impact • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to accelerate decision-making Strategic Impact & Market Feedback • Provide structured feedback from customers to product and engineering teams • Contribute to the evolution of the technology roadmap based on real-world usage • Support strategic engagements with key accounts and research institutions • Help position the company as a leader in HPC and AI infrastructure Your profile Experience & Skills • 5+ years of experience in HPC, AI infrastructure, or related technical roles • Strong background in system architecture, distributed systems, or high-performance computing • Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture or system engineering • Familiarity with AI workloads, simulation (e.g., FEM), or scientific computing • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex problems into practical solutions • Fluency in English; German is a plus Personal Qualities • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on outcomes • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders • High level of ownership and independence • Collaborative mindset with strong prioritization skills Why us?
