As a Staff Engineer Technology Development in our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life. Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role • We are looking for a technology development engineer who will be driving innovations on technology, device and system level, shaping the next generations of High-Voltage Power Devices as part of a global development team • Develop new voltages classes and broadening the functionality of the existing products • Support the ramp up and yield learning phase of new technology platforms like CoolSiC or JFET together with the process integration group • Closely collaborate with PSS production management, unit process and process integration engineers of FAB Kulim • Develop new MOSFET generations, define together with TCAD and application experts the features of the upcoming generations • Define unit process requirements along the technology roadmap together with unit process development engineers • Plan, coordinate and evaluate process experiments including statistical DoEs and ensure process window • Implement improvement regarding cost, yield and stability with change management processes and/or technology projects Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • A university degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences or comparable • Experience in technology development or process integration as advantage • Sound knowledge in the field of semiconductor process technology and semiconductor device physics • Sound knowledge of statistics and design of experiments • Knowledge of MOSFET technologies and product portfolio of Infineon is an advantage • Excellent English communication skills #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
