We are seeking an enthusiastic Enterprise and Events Assistant to support a range of commercial activities, including venue hire, project coordination, administration and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with the Assistant Director (Development and Enterprise), you will coordinate day-to-day activities, take venue hire enquiries and bookings, maintain management information and reporting, and provide administrative support across a variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop broad experience in enterprise and commercial operations within a unique organisation. You will work with colleagues across the Garden and external stakeholders, helping to generate income and support the Garden's long-term sustainability. We are looking for someone with strong organisational and people skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be proactive, confident using your initiative, quick to learn new systems and able to keep tasks and projects moving forward. This is a new and varied role and you will need to communicate effectively with people who have different priorities and working styles. You will bring a flexible, collaborative approach and enjoy contributing to a small, supportive team. If you enjoy variety and making things happen behind the scenes, we would love to hear from you. Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance, with the potential for extension subject to funding.
