Experience: 5-10+ Years Location: Bangalore, India Job Description We are growing our Field Application Engineering team in Bangalore to support strong customer demand worldwide. You will be at the center of EdgeQ's growth. Working side by side with customers, you will turn our silicon into their next-generation connectivity infrastructure, from first architecture to commercial launch. Role Summary and Responsibilities • Work closely with customers from design in through mass production as their primary technical contact for EdgeQ SoCs, reference designs and software. • Manage technical engagement on assigned customer accounts: scope requirements, plan integration, track issues and keep the customer informed through closure. • Support customers with bring up, integration and debugging, reproducing issues in the EdgeQ lab and isolating root cause. • Work closely with EdgeQ development teams to drive fixes, features, and releases for customers. • Create and maintain application notes, integration guides, and training material, and travel to customer sites as needed. Job Requirements • BE/BTech or MS/MTech in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in cellular wireless product development, integration or customer support. • Strong customer focus, with the ability to own customer issues and communicate clearly with customer engineering and management. • Deep understanding of cellular communication systems, including 5G NR and LTE. • Experience in any of the following is required: Platform software (embedded Linux, BSP, DPDK, secure boot, PTP/SyncE/GNSS timing); Hardware and RF system (board bring up, high speed interfaces, RF transceiver integration and calibration); Physical layer software (5G/LTE PHY integration, FAPI, throughput and KPI debugging); L2/L3 protocol software (MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, stack porting and integration). • Strong lab debugging skills and excellent written and spoken English. • Experience with 3GPP NTN is a plus. • Experience with AI tools and agentic workflows, such as automating log analysis and issue debugging, is a plus.
