Software QA

Software QA Location: Penang, Malaysia Responsibilities: • Analyze requirements, test plan design and perform manual testing to ensure that all software applications meet the highest standards of quality. • Designing, Developing and Maintain automation test cases for functional and non-functional requirement. • Design & Develop Test Automation framework for FPGA IDE tools Collaborate with the development team to ensure that new features and functionality are thoroughly tested before release. • Enable delivery of Efinix software tools using CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Delivery) methodologies and tools. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Git-based workflows, while supporting automated regression testing and software delivery processes. • Work closely with design teams to identify opportunities for improvement in automation, reliability, and execution speed within the design flow. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering Electronic/Computer Science or equivalent. • Quality focus, and attention to details. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong interest in software quality assurance and test automation. • Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, Groovy, or Linux shell scripting. • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab. • Familiarity with Docker containerization technology. • Understanding of software development lifecycle, automation frameworks, and DevOps practices. • FPGA hardware architecture and RTL design knowledge will be an added advantage. • Good understanding of electronic design and FPGA development is preferred. • Basic knowledge of ISO 26262 will be an added advantage.
