Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview Job Responsibilities • Developing and implementing algorithms for LiDAR point cloud data processing to extract intelligence from the scene • Defining test data collection scenarios and offline simulation of algorithms for proof of concept • Implementation of optimized algorithms on a real-time embedded platform Minimum Qualifications • MS in computer science, electrical engr or related field with 5+ years industry experience / PhD computer science, electrical engr or related field with 3+ years industry experience • Expertise in micro-coding, experience with various compiler toolchains, debuggers, code coverage tools, profiler, PC tracing • Expertise in implementing highly optimized software in C and C++ in embedded and PC platforms • Proficient in computer vision & 3D perception algorithms and its implementation in C++, not just Python or MATLAB experience • Experience with deploying algorithms on embedded platforms Preferred Qualifications • Strong C/C++ programming skills • Experience with point cloud data processing • Knowledge of GPS, IMU, sensor fusion • Experience with motion state estimation for dynamic systems • Experience with programming in SIMD, VLIW, and Vector processors and/or custom ISA extensions is a plus Apply Now
