Senior Technical Writer

Senior Technical Writer Location: Penang, Malaysia Responsibilities: • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with engineering to understand project requirements. • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write data sheets, application notes, and user guides. • Develop content that can be used in multiple forms (PDF, online help, and web pages), with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation. • Create illustrations and related artwork as needed. • Perform tasks needed by company which adhere to company policy to ensure company’s business operation. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field. • Excellent English writing and verbal skills with a keen eye for detail. • Ability to learn and understand complex topics quickly. • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization. • Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus. • Experience using DITA to create documentation is a plus. • Experience or knowledge of revision control systems is a plus. • Able to provide writing samples.
