Modem Systems Engineering

Atmosic Technologies is looking for modem systems engineers who are passionate about delivering differentiated high performance radio transceivers for low power and battery-free wireless connectivity solutions. Job title and responsibilities commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: • Design and verify modems for low-power wireless transceivers, including Bluetooth, 802.15.4, Ultra-Wideband, and others • Tune algorithms and parameters in transceivers to optimize real-world performance • Enable customer product launches through work with the customer support team • Resolve challenging wireless transceiver issues that span multiple disciplines Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with modem design and performance tuning for wireless communication systems • Expertise in communication theory and signal processing • Strong analytical and debugging skills • Familiarity with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, sniffers, and other RF test equipment • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Ability to multitask while contributing to multiple projects • Excellent communication and teamwork • MS or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Nice to Have: • Experience with Bluetooth, 802.15.4, UWB, or similar • Familiarity with audio signal processing • Proficient at software programming using Matlab, C/C++ and Python Location: • Campbell (Silicon Valley), California, USA
